I am what I call a normal person. What I mean by that is that I am just like you and everyone else who is in the 90 percent group, in almost every way. I just figured out how to be a normal person and get results. From what I see, people are either in the 90 percent group or the 10 percent group. 10 percent of the population are wired a little different when it comes to diet and exercise. The 10 percent group likes exercising and they will gladly do everything needed for optimal health and fitness, including depriving themselves from food and drink and lifestyle habits that are against what traditional health and fitness says. This group has no problem exercising daily and they rarely cheat on their diets. The 90 percent group is everyone else. The people who don’t love exercising and who want to enjoy food, beverage, and life - even at a risk to their health. The 90 percent will trade their health for happiness, the 10 percent will not.
I am here to give you hope though. As mentioned in the previous paragraph, I figured out a way to be a “normal” person and also be in tip top shape in my teens, 20s, 30’s, 40’s, and now in my 50’s. How did I do it? What did I do different than most people? One word, which we will spend them majority of this book explaining, sums it up - MINDSET.
I have been practicing the principles and mindset that you will read in this book for over 30 years myself, and I have been teaching these principles to other people for 30 years.
